Privacy Policy
ParallelX - Dual Clone APP is designed to help you create and manage app clones on your device. We process app and clone information locally by default and do not sell your personal information.
1. Information We Process
Depending on how you use the app, ParallelX - Dual Clone APP may process the following information:
- Installed app information, such as app name, package name, version, and app icon, so we can show apps that may be cloned.
- Clone and virtual space records, such as clone name, icon, package name, space number, hidden state, and shortcut settings.
- Device-related identifiers used inside the virtual environment, such as virtual device identifiers generated or managed for cloned apps.
- App settings, such as language, theme preference, recent-use records, and customization choices.
- Data that a cloned app creates or uses inside the virtual environment, to the extent required for that cloned app to function on your device.
- Technical diagnostic information only when you choose to export diagnostics, such as device manufacturer and model, Android version, supported ABIs, package names and labels, clone and virtual-space status, permission status, app settings, and virtual-data directory statistics.
2. How We Use Information
We use information only for app functionality and support, including:
- Displaying installed apps that can be cloned.
- Creating, launching, hiding, repairing, uninstalling, or managing cloned apps.
- Saving your app customization, theme, language, and virtual space preferences.
- Creating desktop shortcuts when requested by you.
- Diagnosing compatibility, permission, and crash issues.
- Improving app stability and user experience.
3. Local Processing and Storage
Most information used by ParallelX - Dual Clone APP is processed and stored locally on your device. This includes clone records, customization settings, virtual space records, app preferences, and data used by cloned apps within the virtual environment. ParallelX does not independently upload your installed app list or cloned app content as part of normal app operation.
ParallelX does not upload this information to developer-operated servers. Depending on your Android device settings, eligible app data may be backed up or transferred by Android system services controlled by Google or the relevant device manufacturer and subject to their own policies. The ParallelX developer does not operate or access those system backups.
4. Permissions
The app may request permissions only when needed for related features, such as:
- Reading installed apps to show the app list.
- Creating shortcuts when you request a desktop shortcut.
- Accessing photos or media when you choose a custom icon from your gallery.
- Showing notifications and requesting background-operation or battery settings when you choose related stability features.
- Permissions requested by a cloned app inside the virtual environment, where needed for that app's features. Depending on the cloned app, this may include location, camera, microphone, photos, audio or video, contacts, calendar, phone-related information, Bluetooth, NFC, network, or account-related access.
A permission request from a cloned app is made to support that cloned app in the virtual environment; it does not mean ParallelX uses every category of permission for its own home-screen features. You can manage permissions in your device system settings. Denying or revoking a permission may prevent the related cloned-app feature from working.
5. Third-Party Services
The app uses a third-party virtualization SDK to provide its core clone and virtual-environment functionality. The current ParallelX application layer does not integrate an advertising SDK, analytics SDK, or automatic crash-reporting SDK, and does not automatically send crash reports or diagnostics to us. If this changes, we will update this Privacy Policy and the related Google Play data disclosures before enabling the relevant SDK or feature.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information only in limited cases:
- When you explicitly send diagnostic details or support information to us. Exporting diagnostics first copies the report to your device clipboard; it is not automatically sent to us.
- When required to comply with applicable laws, legal processes, or enforceable government requests.
- When necessary to protect the security, rights, or safety of users, the app, or others.
7. Data Retention
Locally stored app data remains on your device until you delete it, clear app data, uninstall the app, or remove the related clone or virtual space, subject to any Android system backup or device-transfer copy described above. Support emails and diagnostic information you choose to send may be retained only as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your request and improve the app.
8. Children's Privacy
ParallelX - Dual Clone APP is not directed to children under the age required by applicable law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us and we will take appropriate action.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information processed by the app. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Your Choices
- You can deny or revoke permissions through your device settings.
- You can delete clones, clear clone data, or clear the app's data from system settings.
- You can uninstall the app to remove locally stored app data controlled by ParallelX - Dual Clone APP.
- You can contact us to ask privacy-related questions.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and may provide additional notice where appropriate.
